We have visited Sandhills many times now and always try to come at least once a year, more if we can. We book through Mudhuts as we know that the level of service is great and gives us comfort knowing if we have any snags they are on hand to resolve quickly. 

We stayed in a different caravan this year but they are always really cosy, clean, comfortable and have everything you could need. 

The site itself is in the perfect position. Directly on the promenade with gate access so you can literally just walk a few steps and be on the promenade and then the gorgeous sandy beach or the Harbour Quay. We bring our dog and he loves the beach. The Quay has a great pub, cafe and best of all fresh fish shop. You can usually also get a short ferry ride across to Hengistbury Head which has lovely beaches, cafes and either a lovely long walk or Land Train ride to the Head with amazing views. 

The things we love most are the cleanliness of the site and surrounding area of Mudeford and the peace and quiet. 

We cannot wait to return!

Our recent stay was perfect we live in Romsey so not to far to travel approx 40 mins approx the lodge is perfect position which  is ideal especially for our mum who’s is elderly - the facilities are nearby for her  We all had a lovely time and a special mention to Jane who is very helpful ensuring that the lodge is perfect for our stay.

We recently enjoyed a second visit to ‘Bel Endroit’ and, once again, found it very comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We love the close proximity to Avon Beach and the Quay and especially enjoyed some walks earlier and later in the day. No doubt we will be back !

We were lucky enough to book a Tuesday to Friday break, at Bel Endroit, Mudeford, and we can recommend everything about the experience. Booking was easy and efficient and a lovely, unexpected welcome awaited us in the form of a card and a bottle of wine!

We could see The Needles from the lounge window, which tempted us out every day to walk along the quay and prom - just gorgeous. Bel Endroit is very well equipped, cozy and comfortable and would suit couples and families, equally well. It’s a charming place, whether you want to explore and be busy or relax, unwind and leave your troubles behind.

We recently had another wonderful stay at Bel Endroit. The caravan is comfortable, well appointed and fully equipped. It’s proximity to the beach, with views of the Isle of Wight and great walks nearby make it a must. Jane is very pleasant and efficient to deal with and we never have any problems with bookings or other issues.

We stayed here with our two children. The caravan/holiday home was beautifully clean and well equipped, with everything you needed. The holiday park is lovely, with a large, warm outdoor pool and a very vigilant life-guard on duty at all times. All the staff were very friendly. The location is amazing, a short walk away from the beach, a lovely restaurant (The Noisy Lobster) and Mudeford Quay for crabbing and a short boat trip to more lovely beaches. What we loved was not having to drive anywhere. Also very close to the New Forest for more activites. We loved it and will definitely be back! Ian and Jane at Mud Huts were very helpful too - thank you :-)

An Enjoyable Break beside the Sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bel Endroit 13 - 17 July 2015. The caravan was lovely and comfortable and sited in a good position. It was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The owners even installed an electric socket on the outside decking so that I could recharge my mobility scooter, which made life a lot easier. The weather was much better than we were expecting and we spent quite a few hours relaxing on the front deck after our walks (well, my scoots!), admiring the view. It was lovely not to have to get the car out all the time. We only went to Sainsbury’s and the chip shop by car! There are lots of places to eat nearby. Even my 91 year old mother managed to walk to Highcliffe Castle, as we stopped at all the cafes and lots of the benches to rest on the way! The paths are all reasonably mobility scooter friendly. I appreciated the linen and towels etc being provided, less to take with you and wash when you get home. Hopefully we will return soon.

Bel Endroit was a well looked after comfortable lodge with lots of extras. It is hard to find such lovely holiday lets that allow dogs and this one was top notch. All the beds were made up when we arrived, towels were supplied and all the little things that you so often forget to take with you like washing up liquid and sponge, tea towels, loo roll, kitchen roll, hand soap in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms and to top it off very nicely a complimentry bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise and went down very well. Mudeford is a beautiful area with lovely sandy beaches and to wake up every morning and see the sea was a bonus. My family and I will definitly be returning and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.

My dad and I had a wonderful stay at Bel Endroit last week so I feel it deserves a glowing review. Sandhills Park is quiet and well maintained, allowing us to have a truly relaxing break. Bel Endroit is situated only a couple of rows back from the seafront (although you can see The Needles from the decking) which has its advantages, being tucked away from prying eyes and sheltered from the wind. It is a stone’s throw from the clubhouse yet we were unaffected by it. Bel Endroit was immaculately presented, comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The shower was hot and powerful! Having two bathrooms allowed us each a little privacy (the main bathroom had a shower, toilet and sink and the ensuite bathroom had a toilet and sink). In the lounge there was a large TV, a selection of DVDs, books and puzzles, along with a much-appreciated bottle of wine! Our days were mainly spent walking the length of Avon Beach, at Highcliffe Castle and walking around Hengistbury Head (a short ferry ride away from Mudeford Quay). All were accessible by foot from Bel Endroit. We also went to Christchurch, Exbury Gardens and Hurst Castle, all worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a fantastic location!

We arrived to find the accommodation exactly as described. It looked and felt brand new and there were some subtle touches that individually you probably would not have noticed but collectively made all the difference e.g. towels, dog bowls, tissues, iPhone docking station/player, games, tea towels, etc, etc. Oh and a bottle of wine and a personalised card to welcome us! I would definitely recommend to family and friends as the location is perfect. We had one of the best meals ever in the Noisy Lobster which is short walk from the site. We were so lucky with the weather it only rained on the Friday but was the rest of the week was generally glorious sunshine. Thanks for a wonderful break!

I booked the Bel Endroit as I was looking for a holiday close to the beach that was suitable for myself, my teenage daughter, my elderly parents and our dog. The booking was really easy and Jane responded very quickly. The Bel Endroit (meaning beautiful spot) is very suitably named as it’s in a beautiful location and so close to the main facilities of Sandhills Park. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and very well equipped with all the things necessary for a self catering holiday. Even the dog was well catered for with dog bowls and a towel to wipe his feet. A welcome card and a bottle of wine was left for our arrival and was very much appreciated! Just a short walk away you could access the Promenade with Avon Beach and Mudeford Quays so close by with many things to see and do. Although the weather wasn’t the best for the week we still had a fantastic time spending quality time together. We even had a wet day staying indoors playing Monopoly and Scrabble which were provided in the caravan: a great time was had by all! We all had a lovely time at the Bel Endroit and will certainly be looking to book again very soon. Would highly recommend.

We have recently returned from an enjoyable week staying in ‘Bel Endroit’. The accommodation was very clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen/dining area was very workable with everything provided should you wish to push the boat out on the self-catering front. It was great to be only a couple of minutes’ walk to the seafront, beach and quay.
