Quayside
Plot 92, Sandhills Holiday Park, Mudeford
Quayside:
Quayside is a front row luxury lodge which overlooks Mudeford harbour. The lodge benefits from wonderful and ever changing panoramic views which can be viewed from the lounge and the wide decking area. Patio doors open out onto the decking which is furnished with a dining table and chairs and loungers for those bright, and hopefully hot sunny days. In the evening the spectacular sunset over Hengistbury Head will likely be the main attraction. The lodge has some outside lighting which is useful for those warm nights when you can dine and entertain outside.
Our lodge has a spacious lounge/diner with a smart TV and our kitchen is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher and also a large fridge/freezer. Quayside is set back from the front and provides privacy for those who like to take in the sun and relax but still be able to watch the harbour-side activities.
Sandhills:
The Sandhills site is relatively small and has a boutique feel. It has a heated outdoor pool with seating and loungers, a small gym and a lounge bar where free Wi-Fi and snacks are available.
There is also a small children’s adventure play area. Sandhills promenade fronts the famous Avon Beach. The long sandy beach with beach huts stretches over half a mile to Friars Cliff, the nature reserve and Highcliffe beach. To the left of the site you can stroll to the renowned restaurant the Noisy Lobster. A stroll to the right will take you to the popular Jetty restaurant at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel.
Mudeford:
Mudeford Quay is still a working quay today and fishing trips are available directly from the quay. There is also a cafe, a pub The Haven Inn and a fish stall. For children and families crabbing is a popular pastime, you can purchase buckets, nets and bait from the quay shop if you need them. The Highcliffe sailing club is based at the quay as well as the Christchurch lifeboat station which practices launching weekly. Dinghy sailing championships are held throughout the year.
From the quay you can take the ferry to Mudeford sandbank where you can walk to Hengistbury Head and beyond, past the abundant and colourful beach huts which are located on the bank.
Some Dorset Area Attractions:
Bournemouth, Poole and the famous Sandbanks area are around 30 to 60 minutes drive away. The New Forest with its wild ponies and old villages is nearby. For the more adventurous day trips can be made to Lulworth Cove, The Isle of Wight and Lyme Regis with its famous fossil pavement.
We hope you enjoy your stay at our retreat.

Had a lovely relaxing short break at Quayside
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had a lovely relaxing short break at Quayside. The sandhills site is adjacent to the bustling Mudeford Quay and Avon beach yet there is the option to relax at the caravan /chalet which has a lovely view of the harbour and sunset. Particularly nice to go for morning and evening walks.

This was our second stay in 'Quayside Lodge' and once again we were not disappointed

'Quayside'
This was our second stay in 'Quayside Lodge' and once again we were not disappointed. The lodge is bright and airy and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The addition of 'Plantation Shutters' at the patio doors and windows, since our last stay, added a further touch of luxury to what was already excellent accomodation. With views over Mudeford harbour, the Lodge position on the park, guarantees always something different to look at. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic accommodation
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic accommodation on a lovely family holiday park! The lodge is exactly as advertised and a wonderful place to stay with all mod cons. A lovely welcoming bottle of wine awaited us too which was a great touch. The park is just the right size for kids to have some freedom but also stay close. Loads to do on the quayside and beaches too. As for the views of the harbour from the lounge and decking … what can we say… amazing!! Overall a wonderful week and thank you!
New Lodge, very high spec.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If the sun shines its great. The decking is lovely to sit on watching the sunset and activities on the harbour in the evening. Get the ferry over to Mudeford Sandbank, an absolute treasure. But watch out you miss the last ferry back!
Wonderful views from this cosy lodge
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was our fourth visit to Sandhills and our first stay in 'Quayside' and once again were not disappointed with the standard of accommodation. The location of the lodge gave excellent views across Mudeford harbour, with an extensive decking area for both relaxing on the provided sun loungers and for al fresco dining. Quayside was well equipped with everything to make the stay comfortable. Contact with Ian & Jane was once again flawless. Would highly recommend both the park and this particular lodge.
We would thoroughly recommend this place
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
