DESCRIPTION:
‘The Escape’ is a comfortable and modern lodge on Sandhills. The lodge sits on a quiet plot, set back from the Mudeford promenade, allowing for calm and privacy. It’s so easy to take your breakfast or a drink on the sunny deck and, with an ever-changing sea view, you can relax and simply watch the world go by.
Once you have unloaded your belongings from your car at your private parking spot, you will find all that you need inside. ‘The Escape’ provides plenty of cupboards and storage for you to unpack and feel at home straight away. From the Nespresso coffee machine, large American style fridge freezer to a microwave, hob/oven, washer/dryer and dishwasher for your convenience and to make your self-catering break as easy as possible.
Sitting in the cosy lounge, you can have some relaxation time watching the sea or just enjoying some calm time. There is an electric fire for the winter evenings and feel free to use the smart TV and DVD player or Sonos speaker to play your music via Bluetooth. The free WiFi is good throughout the lodge and the rest of the park.
The patio doors open to the morning sun and you can enjoy dining and sitting outside on the decking to catch some sunshine. There is a patio table and chairs for your comfort and blankets if you sit out after dark with a glass of something.
Take a short, level stroll from ‘The Escape’ and you will get to the clean, fine sands of Avon Beach or you might want to try some water sports on Mudeford Quay. Here you can hire kayaks, SUP paddleboards or windsurfs or even try sailing a dinghy and sail up to Christchurch. There is plenty to see and do outside of the park but perhaps you will be happy enough taking a swim in the outdoor heated pool. The pool side loungers are the perfect place to read your book and catch some rays; you will have no problem feeling in the holiday mood. The afternoon and early evening sun falls on the outdoor lounge area near the pool and bar, so this is also a spot to kick back and breathe in the fresh sea air.
‘The Escape’ has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite shower room and three wardrobes and drawers to use. The second bedroom has two good size single beds with a storage unit for hanging items and tidying belongings away.
At ‘The Escape’ we find that time seems to stand still – it’s quite unique to Mudeford. Here’s hoping you have a wonderful time at ‘The Escape’ and leave feeling well and truly refreshed from your own escape!
